Christina Moretta, curator of the San Francisco Historical Photograph Collection at the San Francisco Public Library, talks about increasing access to the library’s digital collections.

By sharing photos on the Flickr Commons, Christina hopes to increase awareness of the existing digital collection and increase access points to the collection for people searching for historical photos of San Francisco. She is also looking forward to gaining a new community of users, and adding ways for existing users to interact with the collection through comments and tagging.
