JOB: Assistant Librarian – Temporary Pool, Sonoma State University

Located just 50 miles north of San Francisco in beautiful Sonoma wine country, the University Library in the Jean and Charles Schulz Information Center offers a dynamic learning environment, valuable information resources, and a state-of-the-art automated retrieval system.

The ideal candidate will take pleasure in helping undergraduates, especially first and second-year students, succeed academically by providing quality reference service and engaging teaching sessions. The ability to work in a shared decision-making environment as well as a sense of humor and fun are essential. Additional duties may include assisting with digital projects, creating research guides, and more.

This position requires an ALA-accredited MLS, MLIS, or equivalent and teaching and reference experience.

Rank: Assistant Librarian. Salary range: $3,957 – $5,347 (full time monthly equivalent) commensurate with number of hours assigned, qualifications and experience.
