In this role, you will provide legal reference services for the law school’s students and faculty through scheduled reference desk work and other reference duties.  You will also be expected to assist other reference librarians in preparing for classroom instruction, in research projects and creating/maintaining the content on the Library’s website.

This position is tentatively scheduled through September 30, 2011.  Qualified candidates must have an MLS from an accredited school (MLS candidates with a JD accepted), law library work experience, excellent legal research skills with a thorough knowledge of Lexis and Westlaw.  Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work some evening and weekend hours are also necessary.  A JD from an ABA-accredited law school is desirable; experience developing web pages is highly desirable.

This opportunity offers an hourly rate of $34.
