JOB: Full-time K-8 Librarian at Head-Royce School, Fall 2012, Oakland

The K-8 Librarian has a multifaceted role as teacher, instructional partner, information specialist, and faculty member. The K-8 Librarian works closely with the Library Director to develop and implement curriculum and instructional programs for the libraries that assist students and faculty in becoming critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information.

The successful candidate will possess a Masters in Library Science or a related field, work experience in a lower/middle school library, or comparable experience in public library setting.
