In this position, you will plan and supervise the activities of the reference unit of the library system including analyzing the public’s library needs, selecting of library material, applying bibliographic control techniques, advising the public in the use of library materials, and handling reference and information search requests.
To qualify for this classification, an individual must have three years of responsible experience in professional library work, including at least one year of experience supervising professional and para-professional staff; and possession of a graduate degree in library science issued by a college or university accredited by the American Library Association.

Annual Salary Range: $61,672.00 – $73,757.00
