The next BAYA (Bay Area Young Adult Librarians) meeting is coming up! On Tuesday Sept. 24th we will be meeting at the Redwood City Public Library. Our guest will be the always wonderful Joni Bodart, who will share her new book about human monsters with us. We will also have a packed agenda, finalizing plans for our BAYA Craft Workshop on October 15th (have you registered?!), talking about leadership positions that will be opening up in November, and charting the course for BAYA’s future! We hope to see you there!!
The Redwood City Library is at 1044 Middlefield Rd. in Redwood City (naturally). The parking is 50 cents an hour after 10:00am so we can have people go down to pay at a break. There is a Caltrain station just down the street for those who want to commute. BAYA members will enter the back of the building through the staff entrance. Our gracious host Sarah will have it left propped open with signs directing people where to go (take the stairs or elevator to the second floor). Lunch will follow at Café La Tartine, 830 Middlefield Rd, which is within walking distance.
