This is a unique opportunity for a visionary educator to help design and develop an innovative world class PK-12 research instruction and information resource program based at our new research and information resource center at our new San Mateo campus opening Fall 2014. The successful candidate will help lead research instruction and information resource administration covering emerging, online, digital, and traditional media. S/he will provide direct research instruction to students and work with faculty to incorporate research skills, diverse information resources, intelligent use of technology, and critical thinking skills across interdisciplinary, project based, learning experiences. S/he will help create, curate, and administer access to world-class information resources and help to fit, finish, equip, and resource the new facility. The research instruction and information resources program will leverage the School’s progressive use of computers and technology. The successful candidate will be an experienced, innovative, and inspiring researcher, instructor, information resource administrator, and colleague collaborator. The successful candidate will also have strong technology and traditional, digital, and online media experience and skills. The ability to differentiate and help guide students and colleagues of varying experience and expertise is very important.
