Liz Perry, Biotechnology Reference Librarian, will lead us on a tour of the Genentech Foundation Biotechnology Learning Center.
The Genentech Foundation Biotechnology Learning Center is the first biotechnology learning center of its kind in a public library anywhere in the U.S. It is located on the 2nd floor of the Main Library of San Mateo at 55 West 3rd Avenue, 94402. It was dedicated on Nov. 29, 2006 with the following purposes as defined by the San Mateo Library Foundation: To provide a dynamic learning environment in the areas of life sciences and technology. Biotech Learning Center sponsors many events in the field of science and technology.

Where: We will meet in the Laurel Room at 5:30 pm.
The Laurel Room is on the 1st floor of the Main Library Entrance at 55 West 3rd Avenue, San Mateo, CA 94402 (650) 522-7800

BayNet Members: $5.00
Non-BayNet Members: $10.00
The tour will begin at 6:00pm and run for half an hour. We will return to the Laurel Room for more socializing. Light refreshments will be served. Event ends at 7:30pm
