JOB: UCSF Industry Documents Digital Library Manager, San Francisco

The Industry Documents Digital Library Manager develops, supports, and maintains industry document collections publically available on the UCSF Industry Documents Digital Library at https://industrydocuments.library.ucsf.edu. The first and largest of these collections is the Legacy Tobacco Documents Library followed by others including the pharmaceutical industry and food. These digital archives of documents were produced by the respective companies and serve as the foundation for collections that foster research that advances public health. Reporting to the University Librarian, the Industry Documents Digital Library Manager is responsible for the maintenance and expansion of these digital libraries, designing effective systems to ingest and manage documents and promotion and training of the collections. The individual may also design and carryout research using industry documents; work with federal and state legal offices to develop and monitor enforcement of legal remedies; and participate in grant writing for further funding of new industry collections.
