JOB: Library Technician, Samuel Merritt University, Oakland

This position provides staff coverage of the library’s circulation and service desk in the evenings and on weekends. This position involves performing a full range of circulation and interlibrary loan/document delivery functions. These activities include using automated systems for the lending and borrowing of library materials for library patrons and for interlibrary loan partners. The incumbent will work as a team member to provide excellent, proactive customer service. This position is part-time, 20 hours per week.

Education required:
High school diploma or general education (GED)
Library experience, preferably academic or health science

Experience:
2 years of academic library experience
