On Tuesday November 17th, from 5:30-8:30, EveryLibrary will be hosting a fundraiser at the Library Bar in San Francisco at Hotel Rex. This event will host a cash bar, a chance for Librarians in San Francisco to get together and support a good cause, and do a little celebrating and networking. If you haven’t been to the Library Bar yet, this is a great opportunity to come and indulge your literary side. After all, what could be better than books, cocktails, a menu of American classics, and supporting an organization that is fighting for libraries at the ballot box?
This event was brought together by the librarians of San Francisco and Michelle Zaffino, an American author of young adult fiction and memoir, a digital librarian, information architect and content consultant based in San Francisco
About EveryLibrary
If you’re unfamiliar with the work that we do – EveryLibrary is a nonprofit social welfare organization chartered to work exclusively on local library ballot initiatives. We work with local ballot committees and PAC leaders in support of local library ballot measures, on specific state legislative measures which impact libraries ability to act as districts, and independently to advocate for specific library initiatives among the voting public. We have worked with a number of libraries in California to help them win their campaigns. Some of the libraries we have worked with have included;
