John Bohannon, science journalist and visiting scholar at the Berkeley Institute of Data Science, will talk about his investigations into the evolution of scientific fame, fake peer review, and how his work inspired Stephen Colbert to eat cat food on television.
He’s also the creator of “Dance Your Ph.D.,” an international competition where scientists explain their work through interpretive dance.
