JOB: Library Support Specialist, Cañada College, Redwood City

The Technology and College Reserves Library Support Specialist works with a small team of librarians and staff to manage the textbook reserves collection, Chromebooks, iPads, and Kindles as well as performing general circulation duties.

Do you like working with students and faculty? Public contact is extensive! This position supervises the work of student assistants, contacts vendors, makes technology recommendations, and provides outreach and services to students, staff, faculty, and the general public. Since we are a small team, a high degree of independent judgment and creativity is required, as well as the ability to work with people of different backgrounds and personalities. There is opportunity to work on various library related projects based on ability and interest.
