The primary responsibility of this position is to provide proactive leadership in the overall planning, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of cataloging, acquisitions and technical services. The Librarian also participates in other essential work areas, including collection development, reference, and instruction, as well as teaching a one-unit Library course each semester. This position requires self-direction, flexibility, ability to work well with others as part of a team and the ability to adapt to rapidly-changing Library, teaching, and learning environments. The assignment may include weekend and evening hours.
