GLBT Historical Society Archive Talk
October celebrates LGBT History Month, and the Bay Area has much history to celebrate. We welcome members from San Francisco’s GLBT Historical Society for a casual lecture about the history of the organization within the context of the social, political, and cultural climate of San Francisco in the 1980s. Learn from the GLBT Historical Society about how the archives work, why they are important and how they can be accessed. Founded in 1985, they are recognized internationally as a leader in the field of GLBT public history.
