The ERL provides technical services to the Library Department and acts as a liaison to the Information Technology department. Taking direction from the Library Director, the part-time Electronic Resources Librarian (ERL) performs various professional tasks associated with maintaining subscription database products, Ebooks, and other electronic resources for all 4 campuses. These include managing database renewals, analyzing user statistics, uploading catalog records, providing technical support to users, and vendor interface. Reporting to the Upper School (grades 9-12) Campus Librarian, the ERL also may occasionally help staff the circulation desk, processing, and shelving library materials. This position is a part-time position; 28 hours per week, from 7:30 until 1:30 or 2 pm.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Requirements: MLIS degree from an ALA-accredited program, or currently enrolled in an MLIS program, proficiency in database management, html, and MS Office. Candidates must have experience working in a library and/or experience with young adults.
