The Santa Cruz City/County Library System seeks a dynamic, creative, savvy librarian with exemplary customer service skills to help deliver library services programs. The eligible list established by this recruitment may be used to fill librarian positions with different work assignments over the next year. The current work assignment focuses on youth services in the West Region and will be based at the Downtown Library. The successful candidate must have demonstrated education and skills appropriate to the position including strong communication skills, knowledge of systems, standards and best practices used in a library system. Typical qualifying experience: a Master of Library Science or Master of Science degree in Library and Information Studies from a program accredited by the American Library Association, and professional library experience including some supervisory experience.
