The San José Public Library (SJPL) has Undergraduate/Graduate Student Intern positions available at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library . The Student Interns will work closely with SJPL Works Librarians assisting in the planning, implementing and providing delivery of new Career and Business programming. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: providing technical support, interacting with the general public, facilitating programs with library partners, and introduce customers to Career and Business resources in the center and library databases. Hourly Range: $11.48* – 21.92/hr.
Full/Part Time or On-call: 20–30 hours per week

Position and Duties
Work with Career and Business Librarians to promote and host programs for SJPL Works.
- Evening & Saturday availability preferred.
- Interest in helping others find their career and build their business.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and social media (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, Eventbrite).
Current enrollment in a college or university as a graduate or undergraduate student.
