Santa Clara University, a comprehensive Jesuit, Catholic university located in California’s Silicon Valley, seeks a creative, user-oriented, and self-motivated librarian for the position of Science Librarian. This position provides specialized research consultation, instruction, and collection development for undergraduate programs in biology, chemistry/biochemistry, physics, environmental studies, and public health science. This position works collaboratively with faculty to support student learning through dynamic library instruction and faculty scholarship through expert research consultation. As a subject librarian, he/she collaborates with other librarians and library leaders to support 1st year instructional programs and general research services. This position reports to the Head of Research, and Outreach.
Salary: $58,520 – $108,750 annual; commensurate with experience
