JOB: User Services and Accessioning Archivist, UCSF Library, San Francisco

The User Services and Accessioning Archivist performs all aspects of archival operations. Utilizing archival best practices and standards independently accessions, processes and catalogues archival and manuscripts collections, prepares finding aids, performs basic preservation tasks, and supports grant and digitization projects. On a regular basis provides reference services to members of the UCSF community and other researchers, manages research appointments and reproduction requests, the archives reading room, and online reference requests ticket system. The User Services and Accessioning Archivist assists in alumni and donor-related activities, supports Archives outreach program, and helps prepare library exhibits.
