The Middle School Librarian effectively develops the school’s collection, including catalog development, manages readers’ advisory, and imbues students with lifelong curiosity and a passion for the written word. The course meets once a cycle, and develops student’s design thinking and research skills through a series of real-world design projects. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are needed to guide a group of twelve to fourteen Middle School students during Advisory, which meets twice a week.
