The UCSF Library seeks creative and innovative life-long learners to serve in two exciting positions: Education and Research Librarian and Clinical Research Librarian. The successful candidates have a passion for integrating diversity, equity, and inclusivity best practices into their teaching and enjoys the challenge of leveraging established and emerging technologies to provide optimal user-centered services. These are full-time, permanent positions.
The Education and Research Librarian will act as liaison to the School of Medicine (SOM) and support liaison to the School of Pharmacy (SOP). This position works closely with faculty, staff, and researchers within the SOM and SOP to provide consultation services in diverse areas, including educational scholarship and research.
The Clinical Research Librarian will focus on clinical support for employees at Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG), the city’s only safety net hospital. This position works closely with faculty, staff, and researchers at ZSFG to provide consultation services in diverse areas, including educational scholarship and clinical research. 
Reporting to the Associate University Library for Research and Learning, these positions are part of a team of librarians which provide teaching and research services to our diverse and distributed campus community. Librarians must adapt quickly, apply new knowledge to solve problems, and excel as members of a team.
All services are currently delivered remotely due to COVID-19.
