The Santa Clara University Library invites applications and nominations for the position of Head of Access & Delivery Services. This position will lead the University Library’s access and delivery services, and manage interlibrary loan, paging, and delivery of materials. The successful candidate will explore new approaches to departmental services and department structure, define standards for excellence for these heavily used services, and ensure optimum use and development of library learning spaces. They will join a diverse and dynamic team committed to advancing academic excellence rooted in Jesuit values of social justice and care for the whole person. The Head of Access and Delivery Services will proactively collaborate with other library unit heads to provide direct physical and virtual pathways to resources and services, and will also collaborate with the heads of other co-located departments within the Learning Commons to ensure the provision of coordinated and consistent academic support services for students, faculty, and staff. This position is an essential member of the University Library’s leadership team and will play an integral role in the success of library-wide operations and collaborative initiatives.

The position is available starting on or after April 1, 2022.
