SF Bay Area Program (Zoom webinar)
Tuesday January 31, 2023, 7PM

Join us for a presentation and conversation with Tina Kremzner-Hsing about her 12-week internship with the National Palace Museum (NPM) in Taipei, Taiwan which she completed at the end of December 2022.  Tina will share information about the collections in the NPM and the projects that she undertook as an intern from the iSchool at San Jose State University. The supervising department for the internship was the Department of Planning for the NPM, however she also worked on projects for the Office of Digital Information Services in the Library. Some of her tasks included promoting NPM exhibits via social media in both English and Chinese, translating correspondences and press releases from Chinese to English, recommending newly published English language books on Chinese art history, history, and archaeology for library acquisitions, attending museum lectures/events and helping out with other work in the Planning Department.
