Starts at $78,583 for Librarian I or $86,766 for Librarian II

Description

We are seeking four emotionally intelligent, congenial, forward-thinking, and highly motivated professionals with outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills to join the Library Department of the City of Mountain View. The four vacancies are in specific divisions: Administration; Adult and Customer Experience; Technology and Collections; and Youth and Bookmobile. These positions will be full-time (one of the vacancies is 0.75 FTE that may become 1.0 FTE pending approval) and schedule will be determined by the respective divisions, but may include weekends and weeknights. Adult Librarian – History Center collections, public desk, programs, services, and projects.
Communications Librarian – Library-wide marketing, communication, web site, social media.
Cataloging/Database Librarian – Dewey cataloging, database maintenance, record loading, reports.
Youth Librarian – programs and services, public desk.
